Like Water
Like Water is an ongoing series of custom stamp prints that reflects on the shifting, symbolic nature of water—and the emotional terrain we navigate in search of home. Water, in all its forms, is both a force and a mirror. It holds memory, carries stories, and like us, moves with both intention and uncertainty.
This series draws from flood myths across cultures—narratives where the world resets, where chaos is swept away so something new can begin. These myths resonate not just globally, but personally: in times when the world feels unstable, when the structure of everyday life dissolves, the desire to return to a sense of “home”—within the self, within the world—becomes urgent.
Rivers, in particular, thread through this body of work as symbols of movement, connection, and change. Rivers cut through land the way memory cuts through time—carving, curving, always searching for something deeper. They carry us away and carry us back. For me, they’ve come to represent a path toward clarity, and a reminder that even when everything feels uprooted, there is still flow.
Like Water is a visual meditation on the need to release what’s stagnant, to adapt, to keep moving. It’s about seeking softness in times of hardness, and about finding home not as a fixed place, but as something we carry—fluid, resilient, and always capable of renewal.
